Privacy Policy
We built this test with privacy as a first principle — not an afterthought.
The short version
The Real Enneagram Test runs entirely in your browser. Your answers never leave your device. We don't collect your name, email, location, or any personal information. There are no accounts, no cookies for tracking, and no third-party data brokers involved.
1. Information We Collect
We collect no personally identifiable information. Specifically:
- Your test answers are processed locally in your browser using JavaScript and are never transmitted to any server.
- We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information.
- We do not require account registration.
- We do not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
The only data stored is in your own browser's localStorage and sessionStorage — used solely to remember your accent theme preference and hero copy variant across sessions. This data never leaves your device.
2. How We Use Information
Because we collect no personal information, there is nothing to use, sell, share, or process. Your test results exist only in your browser session. When you close the tab or clear your browser data, the results are gone.
3. Cookies
We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. We use browser-native localStorage and sessionStorage for two purely functional purposes:
- Session accent theme — remembers your randomly assigned color theme for the duration of a session.
- Hero copy variant — avoids showing the same headline twice in a row across visits.
Neither of these contains any personal data and neither is accessible to any third party.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect limited technical data:
- Google Fonts — loads the Outfit and Inter typefaces. Google may log the request IP address as part of standard server logging. See Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other behavioral analytics or advertising platform.
5. Children's Privacy
This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Because we collect no personal data from anyone, this is inherently satisfied.
6. Data Security
Since all processing happens locally in your browser and no data is transmitted to our servers, the risk of a data breach involving your personal information is effectively zero. There is no database of user answers to be compromised.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
